Dublin Castle is built over a fault line in reality. Time and space have no meaning there just as truth and lies become inextricably mixed. Anyone entering through the portals of the Castle must leave their credulity behind or suffer irreparable damage to what ordinary mortals call ‘Common Sense’.

‘The Castle’ was the inspiration for Franz Kafka’s novel of the same name and even in the 21st  century is still populated by grey men in grey suits with grey hair who are dedicated to the pursuit of grey areas in what they call ‘The Law’.

Do not be fooled by this façade however, as the Castle also stands on the threshold of an enormous Vortex that sucks in vast quantities of money. Millions and millions of ‘squids’, ‘yo-yo’s’, and ‘chicken’s necks’ are drawn to their doom and simply vanish from existence within the Castle walls.

Prehistoric parasites like ‘The Revenue’ and ‘The Carriage Office’ have hidden lairs in the Castle and their tentacles have spread like a vast invisible fungus through the entire edifice infecting everything they touch.

Do not be fooled by the neat courtyards, the rows of shining windows and the well ordered lines of The Castle for at its heart lies a seething , writhing ever expanding can of worms that cannot be contained forever.
